Gender Based Violence

Where there is a child, there is a mother and where there is a mother there is a child.. children need Peace harmony in their families provided there is no domestic violence. Violence against women hurts everyone. It’s an injustice of human rights. Gender based violence damage the family and goes further to the community. We as Destiny Mission Foundation Trust we are running workshops, awareness campaigns educating communities about the consequences of Gender based violence. To protect this misery, we are empowering women with livelihoods projects so that they will be self sustained and be able to send their children to school and they can have something to eat. When there is domestic violence , families and children can witness violence behaviour or emotional disturbances resulting in growing up in violence and ending up violating girls if they are boys. They can lose their partners and children’s trust and love. Destiny mission foundation trust’s mandate is to protect, empower and prevent such kind of behaviours by providing them with psycho social support programs through sports activities, music and many others but only to mention a few. Each and every year we are commemorating the 16 days of Activism addressing gender based violence issues. When women are being abused there is a great chance of getting HIV/AIDS, STI’s and they can lose hope and end up into unintended pregnancies, resulting in disorders. We say “NO” To Domestic Violence. We are also networking and collaborating with responsible Authorities and service providers in the fight against Gender based Violence.
